What do good language learners do to learn languages?

What can we learn from good language learners - those who speak several languages - about language learning? What characteristics do good language learners have and what strategies do they use to learn another language? These two graphics show that: 1. good language learners need motivation, exposure, feedback and practice and 2. good language learners use many different strategies to learn another language.
