"A little language goes a long way" Helping Year 10 students to see the benefits of

Languages build relationships
Languages build confidence
Languages build careers
Where will your languages take you?
This was my message and question to 220 Year 10 pupils studying French, German and/or Spanish at St Aidan's Church of England High School in Harrogate yesterday.
Feedback from Andrew MacCallum, Head of Modern Languages:
"Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into the presentation for our Year 10 linguists. It was an excellent talk and has really helped them to think about where they go with languages and given some of them the confidence to voice these ideas in class already".
Feedback from Marian Farrar, Business and Community Partnerships:
"It was a really brilliant presentation for the 220 or so students you delivered to - pitched perfectly to their level and their motivational triggers. We really appreciate all the time you have taken to prepare and to tailor everything to our rather tight time scale and logistics",
